Private beach
Partners of the private beach of Passable (St Jean Cap Ferrat), We will be delighted to organize your relaxing days by the sea on one of the surrounding private beaches: Délibo (Villefranche-sur-Mer), passable or Paloma (St Jean Cap Ferrat), Anao, Baia Bella or Batik (Beaulieu-sur-Mer), Papaya or Anjuna (Eze by the sea). Rental of sunbeds with parasol, catering and water activities on site. Reservation required, direct payment on site.
Old town
Street “du Poilu”
It is the street that the “poilu” (literally “the hairy”, soldiers of the 1st world war) used to take the train and go to war. It is located two streets above the hotel. Now being the main shopping street of the old town, you will find there nice little shops, typical restaurants and a small supermarket.
“Obscure” street
It is a 130 meter covered street dating from 1260 and listed as Historic Monuments in 1932. Located in the heart of the old town, overlooking the port de la Santé, it was the continuity of the covered way. Along the first rampart of Villefranche, it allowed the circulation of the military, facilitated maneuvers and served as a shelter for the population in case of bombardment of the city. Later, the old cellars overlooking Obscure street were mainly used as shelters for donkeys and goats.
Sea trips
Sea excursions
From June to September, board the “Sirène V” to visit the Riviera by the sea: excursion in the bay of Villefranche and St. Jean-Cap-Ferrat, heading for Monaco (with night outings during the pyrotechnic festival) or photo safari in the Mediterranean. The boats chartered by AMV welcome up to 150 people. Sea rides from 45 minutes to 4 hours from the Port de la Santé (opposite the hotel). Other destinations (Cannes, St Tropez) from the port of Nice. Boat rental
One rental company, located opposite the hotel, offers boat rental with or without a license. Skipper service on request. Our concierge service will assist you in planning an unforgettable getaway to discover the most beautiful coves around, aboard a local “Pointu”, a sailboat or even a yacht.
